Harold “Skip” Bird has more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience. He was an executive vice-president with Hudson Advisors from 1993 to 1998 and a principal with Lone Star Fund from 1997 to 1999. In those roles, Skip was involved in the asset management of over 100,000 apartment units and over $5 billion in commercial transactions. Before founding S2 Capital with Scott Everett, Skip was the managing partner for Uptown Enterprises and developed 10 retail centers between 2000 and 2008. In 2008, he shifted gears into multifamily— acquiring two properties in 2010 and laying the foundation for the future of S2 Capital. Skip manages investor relations for all S2 ventures and provides executive oversight on S2’s investment strategy. He has been a principal in over $1.3 billion of commercial real estate projects over his lifetime.
